Quote sparkles="sparkles"Jean do you only look at French and players that used to be from the NRL. I only ever see big up a group of players if they are coming from the NRL. Surely you have noticed some good signings from super league. I am a Leeds fan so I will no include my club (although we haven't made any superleague signings) but what I believe are two top quality good signings being Daryl Clark to Warrington(stand out) and Craig Huby to Huddersfield. Maybe in Scott Taylor to Salford if his head is in the right place. Sneyd if he doesn't bottle the big matches was very good in the not as bigger games IMO. You ignore these and big up basically nearly all NRL signings. '"
I am a big fan of the Clark Man. He will be a big element in Warrington's run for silver ware. I have said before that Warrington, with Sims, Hill and Clark has the best starting front row.
Cas without Clark drop out of the Top 8 IMO, leaving a spot for Hull KR.
The rest of the English transfers are not very important.
Quote sparkles="sparkles"Some are very good Carney(I am certain he will shoot himself in the foot). Ashton Sims big fan of his. Seemed to be the best prop on the pitch when I saw the two matches against the Rabbitohs but openly said it was the best rugby he had played in a season. The rest to me in matches I saw were hardly standout players. Some I like to watch Ben Roberts but only really found decent form second half of last season. Dobson has proven very good in super league but has not cracked the NRL. Although was reserve grade best half. Mark Minichello I like watching but has reached the age where he maybe potentially injury plagued. Not many of the rest seem to stand out to me.'"
Don't count on Carney shooting himself in the foot. If his former Cronulla teammate Ben Pomeroy has half a brain he will look after the Todd Man and keep him off the drink.
Quote sparkles="sparkles"Also how are Catalans guaranteed top four when their away form was diabolical until the play offs?'"
I expect that Catalans 2014 finals run with away victories against Leeds and Huddersfield will have boosted their self confidence for away games. Plus a fit and in form Todd Carney will make up the difference of a hostile away crowd.
