We can't all roll down the M62 when we feel like it. Some people would need to book flights, accommodation and plan time off. I had to sit at home watching the 4 Nations thanks to the decision to release fixtures for a tour to Aus/NZ in May. I just couldn't commit without knowing the dates/fixtures. I'm sure I'm not the only one. It will cost me around £250 to attend each test - so yes - I do need to know.

The Wembley test also needs a 12-month lead in. If they want to get anywhere near 50k they need concerted marketing over a period of time. Sadly, RL fans just won't turn up to things without a massive push. I can't believe I'm agreeing with William but we are all talking about the 4N and Kiwis now! Not the sodding Magic weekend.

Their target audience for the Wembley test would be those tens of thousands of non-heartland fans who attended the Semi-Final. I have never been in a RL crowd with so many non-northern voices. They won't be buying season tickets but they will be buying and looking for offers. This just shows how narrow-minded we have become.

Good decision, if we do lose this next series on home soil then its time to go but for now i can see progress... this will be the time for us to do the business no more 'just failed'

Wonder how many of the NRL-based players for both countries will suddenly find their clubs protesting that they need off-season surgery immediately after the NRL Grand Final?

Another series of agonising disappointment is in store then.

Genuine question by the way, almost 3,500 posts about a sport you despise and beleive is a joke yet you hate the sport and its supporters so much, doesn't make sense to me?

The RFL usually spin the line that it's always the fault of Australia that international RL isn't top of the agenda and treated seriously, and their Moonie followers swallow it hook, line and sinker.

We were promised dates, venues and ticket arrangements for the Kiwi series in mid-November.

What do we get instead?

Dates, venues and discounted ticket deals for the two domestic competitions, Moonie Weekend and the Moonie Bash.

I'm sure the RFL will get around to arranging their afterthought Kiwi Series eventually.

In the meantime, I urge all Moonies to keep schtum about it, or if they can't maintain the peace, BLAME AUSTRALIA instead for the pitiful state of international RL.
