| Joel moon was homesick at Salford. We released him then he signed for Leeds. 'Homesick' has many different meanings. In regard to Taylor, it could be genuine homesickness or it could be a valid excuse to leave somewhere he doesn't want to be. I guess we'll see in twelve months time.

| Who on earth could be homesick about Hull? Honestly? It's Hull for crying out loud.

It seems odd that someone would want to leave Wigan for Salford if they've got no personal attachment though. Hull are his boyhood club, his partner is expecting and both of their families are in Hull. In terms of attractiveness to a player I would imagine that the overall package at Hull is more tempting. Although tbf Koukash can probably pay whatever he wants.
Moon left Salford to play for a bigger club and win trophies. With all due respect to Salford that isn't the case here.
I don't know if he actually has an agreement with Hull, although I'm led to believe he has. However, if he doesn't and he decides he loves Salford then so be it.

Fair points.
However, it may only be attractive to him because of his roots there. Hull, at the moment, is certainly no better a choice than Salford with regards to on-field attraction.
I'm not going to go into a slagging match about both Cities locales. That wont achieve anything. All I'll say is that the Clubs luxury housing at Salford Quays and its access to everything city centre Manchester has to offer, plus MK's dosh would be more of an attraction to most. Of course, all this is conjecture and I don't doubt that he sees himself going back home at some point. Twelve months is a long time and nobody knows the fortune of either Club in that time, or indeed, the lay of the land come the end of next season.

Both clubs are probably in a similar place on the field atm. But I'm sure players don't want to be playing in front of 4 or 5k every week, and the facilities at Hull are very good (I don't know what Salford's are like). I can't deny that there is a lot more going on in Manchester than Hull, but there are some very nice places to live in Hull and the East Riding. Despite what the media often say it's not just council estates and blocks of flats.

I just returned to Hull after 5 years away and it has changed massively for the better, with a lot of money being invested and the city of culture it really is a city on the up.
Still a really cheap place to live, he will be able to get a much better house for his money than Manchester.
