| As Saints fans, we have blessed over the last 20 years with success - but tonight's win, for me, was the sweetest of them all. Written off by all pundits, by the majority of fans (including some of our own), and by the media. No representatives in the England squad, and only one in the dream team. Roby overlooked for MoS. "The worst team to make a Grand Final." It's going to be the most one sided final of all time." The adversity with the loss of key players for a large part of the year, and then our only halfback being taken out of the game.
I can't tell you how proud I am of that team tonight. Not the prettiest of wins, but it didn't need to be. We found a way to win. That is the sign of a Champion team.
Hope the lads have a great off season. Can't wait for 2015. Come on you Saints!!!!

| In 20 years time when people read the history books, no-one will read about the worst team to win a Grand final. They won't remember that Saints had no halfbacks. The history book will only show that Saints beat Wigan 14-6 and that Ben Flower was the first man ever to be sent off in a Grand final.
Who was the best team - WHO CARES

| It was a great game and of course now all St Helens fans can justifiably claim their team is more than twice as good as Wigan's

| St Helens only won because the vicious and spiteful little runt, Lancelot Hohaia, was not sent off at the same time as Benjamin Flower, for his illegal attack with his elbow on the face of Benjamin Flower.
How sweet was that?

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |
|
| Quote: tugglesf78 "You struggled to beat a 12 man Wigan.
Take your win as you deserve it, but please dont describe that as a famous victory. You should have stuck 30 points on us last night'"
Would they have got 2 trophies if they had stuck 30 points on you? No, thought not. Stop being so bitter and twisted. At the end of the day you have won as much as Salford this season and even they managed to beat us at Craven Park. Poor Wigan.
