Some people seem to be forgetting that this is voted for by the players, the very best people to judge. Clarke is a wonderful player, who will go up another level behind a wolves pack next season. You couldn't have argued with any of the candidates winning it, but I will say as regards Peacock, wonderful player as he is, I cannot recall a game this season where he has turned it in Leeds favour. I can with Clarke, many times. My next choice would have been Roby, the guys a machine.

I think you may have missed my point.
The esteemed Mr Eve thinks that JP shouldn't have been in with a shout of MoS due to playing for the '7th placed SL club' (which is Leeds, going on the play-off positions)
I was saying that does Clark really have such a bigger case for winning the award when his side finished one place higher in 6th? (again, using William's criteria) |
