| Personally looking forward to this, might be a breath of fresh air, and it cant be much worse than the current setup.
Although I have to say, when you see people on twitter etc exclaiming that its just too complicated to understand, I mean seriously read the info. If you cant get your head round it, you shouldnt be allowed out of the house by yourself.

It’s a 12 team league that has 4 more teams (from a different 12 team league) join part way through, then splits in to two to play in essentially two different competitions for two different prizes...'"
You see when you make an effort it sounds very simple.

| Seems our club has resolved the season ticket issue as fans have started getting their letters.
There will be no split of the season ticket. Same price regardless of getting the extra home fixture or not.

If RL fans say that they are fining it "too complicated", what are the casual fans going to think ?
The play off's in the old format were certainly difficult to remember and explain to others and the ALL NEW SUPER 8'S are not exactly simple.
Of course, if you study the detail, everything is clear, but the idea is not exactly straight forward based on what has gone before.

| Quote A-Fire-Inside="A-Fire-Inside"People on here (hardcore fans) will want to understand it though - you try explaining that to the casual or new fan and they'll glaze over, or look at you like you're off your head! Are they stupid too?
I know about those reactions because I've already tried going through it with a couple of different mates. I understand it, but I bet most on here had to read it through and think about each part of it (I certainly did) and it shouldn't have to be like that IMO.
Way, way too complex - it's too much like hard work for everyone but the serious fan to get to grips with - and is that good for the sport as a whole??
I don't like how there's a different playoff system in each division of 8 either - although I suppose that's the same now (top 8 w/club call; top 8 without; top 5)
One of my best friends, who has watched League all her life summed it up best: "Rugby League. Remember when it used to be simple?"'"
Did you ever try explaining how licencing works to them? ,how a club finishing 5th in the second tier got promoted before the other 4 clubs in front of them ,or how Featherstone finished top for 3 years but were never given a chance of SL
Try explaining how a club like Celtic Crusaders had a full time squad full of Australians on dodgy visa's with a salary cap of £250 K playing out of a 5h1thole like Brewery Field were ' promoted ' ,then you'll see ' confusion '

You're right. This person who didnt understand what licensing was or that we had it, would have certainly been surprised at the conclusions of a licensing period.
I stand corrected. It did manage to confuse you. Well done.............I think.

They didnt last a licensing period, as we ' fans of clubs who had experienced the Celtic Crusaders farce before SL ' told you they wouldnt
Even the RFL didnt understand licensing
Either way if you dont want to watch the new structure, you wont be missed

you mean not watch like you havent for the passed few years?
Ill still be watching, unlike you im not going to throw a hissy fit and refuse to go because the structure isnt what i want. Watching your reaction as your pet clubs try and fail to compete with the real big boys will be funny. Your panty twisting when I said Leeds played poorly beating Leigh was funny.
