(Ps on a side note does anybody else hate it when coaches, media etc say ruck instead of play the ball?...why use a Union term?
It's a league term too, it wasn't that long ago each play the ball could be contested and so was a ruck. Just a ruck that contained a limited amount of players (and obviously unlimited going further back).
Also the term has come to be used to describe the whole area around the play the ball rather than just the act of the play the ball if you see what I mean.
