Exactly. Leeds fans are hardly in a position to lecture anyone about graceful behaviour. "Dirty Wigan" and "Corruption alive and well" are two threads that sprung up the moment they lost.  |

You would have a point if I had started any of those threads, but I didn't. For the record what some Leeds fans post and start threads on is embarrassing. Although the thread title of this one is pretty much spot on for how Wigan played on Saturday, it paid off, it got them the win, but even as a wigan fan you must be able to see that the game plan was obviously to rub Leeds up the wrong way and play 'dirty'. so the thread title is hardly being ungracious. |

Whatever makes the defeat easier to swallow. Obviously this thread and the other were created solely to soften the blow of losing a game you never contemplated losing. It must be because wigan cheated or the refs are corrupt. |

That isn't a knock-on since Moon still has control of the ball. It's after that where the ball comes out of Moon's grasp and then hits the Wigan player (hits his hand IIRC) that it's a knock-on, the ball flies up into the air a little and then Moon catches it on his way down and grounds it.
A knock on, but certainly wasn't clear to start with. And I believe it's only recently that the VR has been able to use the Super Zoom capability, in previous years that would probably have been given even with the Video Ref reviewing it.'"
The correct call was made by the VR, end of story.
How ever dirty Wigan were and how ever much Leeds fans feel hard done by, it was a try.

I'm not sure I've seen or heard any Leeds fan complain about the no try. So close for us but the ball does hit Manfredi on the nose so correct call. |
