Quote: Mr. Zucchini Head "Radford was brought in to bring in discipline and improve the attitude at Hull. We have some very good players, but on this front we are as bad as ever. Not sure how much patience Pearson will have as the crowds dwindle. I've said elsewhere that this is a wide open league, and any number of teams are capable of taking 4th spot, but if we can't address this inconsistency then it will quickly slip away from us. We have Wigan at home next week, and tbh I fully expect us to win, but we are so up and down from week to week that I can't see us stringing more than a couple of wins together this year. We haven't won back to back games yet this year. That's just ridiculous.'"
I think it was a mistake to elevate Radford to head coach so quickly, I think those kind of moves rarely work. I'd have had him as assistant for at least 3 or 4 years first.
I also think, regardless of the coaching team, the Hull squad isn't that good and they won't do much better than 6th-8th until they sign some better players and produce some better players too.
