Ther has to be a fault at each tackle so the video ref has to be involved.
This video ref system is a joke and is a cop out by the refs to have to make a decision .

I've been advocate of the video ref checking every try for some time, but with the caveat they don't spend ages scrutinizing a try if it's clear cut. That'd cut out the instances when the ref inexplicably chooses not to refer a 'try' only for subsequent replays to cast doubt on it.

They should either scrap it or hire some competent officials. They made a few glaring errors tonight and are clearly looking for ways to give a decision that isn't the obvious one. And when they do get them wrong, like tonight, they should be punished for it. Fined and stood down.
