| Is anyone else like me finding it very frustrating that we are in to March 2014 yet the RFL are still yet to confirm whether we are having an end of season 4 nations?
I have seen mentioned that it will be in Australia/New Zealand and have even seen possible dates of games at in October/November 2014, but as yet they are still to confirm whether it is definitely happening.
What is the big problem with organising international rugby league in advance?
Not having set dates with only 8 months to go to a possible fixture is surely unacceptable.
RU have international fixtures mapped out and agreed for 5-10 years ahead.
How on earth are they expecting people from the UK to go over to Australia this year with so little notice of the fixtures being agreed.
Most people need to save up for 1-2 years for a trip like this and also need to book a significant amount of holidays from work (I am looking for 3 and a half weeks off) well in advance in order for employers to agree and to ensure holidays are saved for this throughout this year.
I imagine if it does go ahead there won't be a great turnout from the UK at all due to such bad planning.
Me and 2 of my mates are hoping to go this year, but just want to have it confirmed so we can start booking flights, hotels, holidays etc.
I have e-mailed the RFL who just blamed the IRFL and I have e-mailed the IRFL 3 times and had no reply. This just about sums up our attitude to International RL for me and is why we are so far behind RU and other sports internationally.
The chance to build on the RLWC is just passed by because of shocking planning.
I have had some encouragement today seeing David Howes advertising a tour in the League Express for 2014. So I am hoping that means we are getting very close to having the 2014 tournament, dates and venues actually confirmed.
I am going to attend the meeting in Haydock next week to hopefully find out some information through them, seeing as the RFL and IRFL either know nothing or ignore me.
Is anyone else hoping to go this year and having the same frustrations as me?
Regards
DLM

| Gutters negativity seeking radar is unbelievably effective. Never misses an opportunity to belittle the efforts of small nations attempting to grow OUR sport.
The lack of dates is a joke though.
