| I think Stevo owns the production company that makes live TV Super League commentary and programmes for SKY. So, unless he sacks himself, we are stuck with him.
I agree with an earlier poster about constant, needless replays. It isn't a recent problem though, it has been going on for years. It's very annoying and usually happens in order to solve an arguement between Eddie and Stevo over something like a high tackle, knock on, or forward pass, etc.
They need to go. I wish they would retire.

| the point about replays was illustrated perfectly on friday night.
leeds were penalised for offside at the kick off, but sky were showing a replay of something that happened 2 minutes previously so anyone watching wouldn't know what had happened ( the cheering from the giants fans was an indication something had happened) but they carried on showing the replay and then had to show a replay of the penalty being given, which missed the next phase of play.
very frustrating for the viewers. replays are fine, if they are required and if and when there is a stoppage in play.

During the Parramatta and NZ game yesterday i noticed that a few times they showed the replay's in a small box at the bottom of the screen which allowed viewers to continue watching the action if they so wished.Sky should take note.

| Yeah I noticed that too - thought the replay box was a little small to see exactly what had happened, if it had been a 50/50 split, that would have been better.

| This campaign from so called 'rugby league' fans against Stevo is becoming bullying to the extreme and completely undeserved for a guy that has done so much and continues to do so much for our sport.

| Again on the replays.
It is by far the most annoying thing that they need to sort out.

Spot on. Bumped into him yesterday and I really can't speak highly enough of him. He has done a hell of a lot for the game we love including a lot of charity work. His museum was fantastic and he always makes time to chat with supporters and pose for pictures. The man lived and breathes rugby league and it is sad to see such vitriol week in week out.
Yesterday I was joined by a group of southerners for what was their first game of rugby league. Sam Tomkins could have fallen over them and they'd have been none the wiser yet they immediately recognised Stevo. "Was that the bloke off Sky Sports, he's a legend!" We will miss him a lot more than folk realise and as I have been saying for years I am amazed that he is still yet to receive recognition from HM.

I've had the pleasure of Stevo's company on numerous occasions and agree he is 100% a top bloke and a credit to our game - however, this doesn't alter the fact that the commentary aspect of sky's coverage should be better.

| You cant blame him really though I mean he really loves the game and no matter how annoying he gets he will stick up for the game no matter what. Also he is the president of my club and he is a really nice bloke and is really interested in the junior game as well. But I don't think he is the best commentator around He should just stick to doing backchat because that show really does suit him IMO.

| Who care's if he's a "top bloke". I don't want to listen to the same cut, copy and paste commentary any more.
He's become a parody and doesn't even have the appeal of a Murray Walker.
No-one owes him a living.
