It isn't helped by the fact that we have a season opening match 6 whole days before anyone else plays. And whilst that was largely unavoidable, it is a poor way to start the season - far better to have had a "Bye week" for the WCC.
That said, the SKY advert with Mark Webber is fantastic. Like Bradley Wiggins last year, there's a lot to be said for getting an internationally popular and respected sportsman to voice their admiration for the game. If only that message could be rolled out more, however.
