Can anyone confirm that these are definitely on the same day? According to SL & FA sites they are but I would be amazed if this is still the case. I know that the two have their own core fans but surely if either of the Manchester teams get there this will affect the number of 'neutrals' from the area who come for a day out.

I realise that the game's 'key areas' football teams are unlikely to make the final (although both Bradford and Wigan got to Wembley last year!) this still seems like a hell of an oversight.

I always thought that we had an agreement with the FA to avoid clashing with each other premier matches/finals

I have no wish to watch football, but you have to wonder at the mental capacity of the organisers of the weekend it putting it up against one of the top annual world sporting events with over 600 million viewers world wide.

Would have hurt anyone to have moved the Hull match to earlier or is there a touch of " its too late to alter now and sod em" about it.

Never mind yet another example of the RFL organising at its very best............

The rfl knew a month ago that the possibility of the hull games clashing on the same day and time when the semi final draw was made, poor management from them waiting until now to dismiss the requests, funny sky can give 4 weeks notice but the rfl wouldn't, you have to wonder why?

Perhaps the Police would rather the Hull game isn't moved?

why? i dont recall any crowd trouble at past magic events
