I had something similar behind me in the north east quadrant, Had to giggle when he asked if a knock on was when the ball goes forwards.
Spent most of the game with a headache and to be honest the horns certainly didn't help. They don't add anything to the atmosphere for me, infact drown it out if anything. Didn't have any issue's with people constantly getting up for the bar etc because I was on a short row but I've experienced it at grounds before and it does get on my wick a bit. I think the fact that it was a neutral final will have made it worse as people are more inclined to not care about the match as much and just concentrate on getting tanked up.
