I rang up around 2 hours ago and was told no where in the ground had 2 tickets available.

Could just about scramble 2 tickets in the same block. They were priced at £40.

I know I should be glad that it's "officially sold out" and there arent any pairs of tickets left, but why do I feel that they'll still be empty rows/blocks when you watch it back on the TV ?

Probably more likely at this game than the others as I can see a fair few English fans giving it a miss after the disappointment of last week.

Probably spent 30 seconds reading the RFL press release and therefore got it wrong. I txted them a correction at 3pm but I don't imagine they paid any attention.

Only an RL fan would post this! Shows why we will never grow our fan base. Pathetic. I doubt our other code cousins would say the same and pass up their WC FINAL.

We don't deserve recognition and sponsors if this is our fans attitude.

And this is why RL supporters will never understand Union fans attending in large numbers games that RL fans would deem unworthy of spending a brass farthing on, and why the Olympics was a success in terms of crowds and financial revenues etc. the RLWC Final is an event. It does not really matter who is in the final, it is an event that comes once but 4 years or in the case of RL in often random fashion.

So England are not in the final, yes that is disappointing BUT it does not diminish the importance of the RLWC FINAL as an EVENT.
Go and loving enjoy it as an EVENT you will have to wait another 8 years to see in the UK again.

That's what makes England's absence so awful
