Quote: number 6 "You seriously think pearson and hudgell said the above in the interview! don't be soft!
its just a reminder printed by the rugby league reporter for the fans of clubs!'"
No, of course i don't. Are we supposed to pretend that an article where 11 questions elicits 6 mentions of ticket sales, answers 2 more questions with pretty simple and obvious puff pieces on how 'next season will be better' and devotes 4 paragraphs at the bottom to how you can actually buy the things is some hard hitting frost/nixon expose rather than the local paper doing a PR job for them?
As i say
APWe have to make the season pass attractive with the extra benefits and that's what we are trying to do. It's about being a member of Hull FC and having an allegiance to the club.[/i
NH;[iWe've recruited heavily and I feel we have a far better squad than we had last year.
We had a lot of adversity last year that was out of our control and there is a lot of positivity about us doing a lot better. The fans are buying into that, the sales are up on where they were last year. I'm confident, without being complacent, that we will comfortably exceed sales of last year. That is testament to the fans who appreciate what we are trying to achieve.[/i
They didnt even try and sneak it passed you.
Quote: number 6 "we could have our players tweeting reminding us instead like wigan do!'"
Its a sales pitch mixed with a whinge. People are allowed to sell things for the club. If Wigan use twitter to do it, then fine, there is nothing wrong with actually selling rather than taking orders. In fact more clubs should 'sell' rather than take orders. Lets just not pretend it is some magnum opus on the problem the game faces and some brave new world of altruism and co-operation between the two Hull clubs.
