| 2014: Australia Four Nations
2015: (probably Australia Ashes)
2016: UK Four Nations
2017: Australia World Cup
Schedule only plans for 1 tournament here until at least 2018. We can't be having that.

| I agree that something needs to be done to ensure momentum isn't lost, but there is a danger that if we have too many big events, they get diluted and stop being 'big events'. Part of The reason this WC has been such a success is that people have been waiting and looking forward to seeing the stars of the game - if we have access to watching them every year, the novelty will wear off.
Having said that, totally agree about a champions league type competition and we do need more regular meaningful international fixtures - I just think a 'big' tournament over here should just be every 3 or 4 years to help build up anticipation - plus we need to share the comps as a minimum with Aus and NZ, and need the odd off season without international competitions.

Logic says we're having a tournament in 2013, the 2014 one should be down there.

| Simply alternate series between UK/France and Aus/NZ evey year. I know some years the cycle will have to change though. Next gratin defo down under and with nothing confirmed for 2015 I think it is ideal to get the Aussies here for an Ashes. Wembley, COMS and Elland Rd the venues. Wembley the 1st Test then will can build it up for 12 months in advance.

I respectfully disagree. The 6 nations and the 'autumn internationals' always seem to sell out. Yes the World Cup itself shouldn't be every year, but we are a million miles away from over-saturation. We ( Eng and/or GB lions) need to be playing Australia and New Zealand on average at least two or three times a year.

| simple alternative to playing in Australia or UK
DO BOTH!!!
England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France & Italy in high summer playing a round-robin against one another.
End of season three-test series against either Australia or New Zealand.
If RL is to work as an international game we need to ensure that by RLWC2017 there are more than three sides competing. The best way of doing that is by giving the 'minnow' sides regular games, encouraging players to commit and giving a public that actually does not give a rat's about club RL a chance to see some games they have a stake in.

That is the important thing. We had two blokes from Watford sat next to us who absolutely loved it yesterday. But to paraphrase them, London are awful and trapsing all the way up to somewhere like Warrington wouldn't be worth it.
There were so many people there like that yesterday, who loved the sport but have no association with a professional club and never will. That is what Union have got sussed, something we can learn a lot from.

| I'm not sure they never would have a care for club RL. I think one of the best things that could happen for SL would be to let London off the overseas quota & salary cap, and help them to bring in Slater, Inglis, Thurston, Cronk, Smith, SBW, Mason, Burgess, Tuilagi, Banahan etc.
A london club that was succesful and well-located would be a massive boon for SL.
Until that is feasible, regular international RL is the way to go.

They can't even afford the players they've got, how would they pay those type of players? + thankfully none of the other clubs would ever vote for this.
