Quote: ComeOnYouUll "Hull is a great place with, of course, all the problems of any large city. There is, however, a great social and cultural scene here, especially around the Old Town, High Street and the Marina.
I know many people from all parts of the UK who have moved to the city through university or work who have made their home here and wouldn't live anywhere else. In the words of Philip Larkin
"Hull has its own sudden elegancies. People are slow to leave it, quick to return. And there are others who come, as they think, for a year or two, and stay a lifetime, sensing that they have found a city that is in the world yet sufficiently on the edge of it to have a different resonance."
Possibly Hull in the past hasn't blown its own trumpet enough, hopefully the City of Culture status will change that.
This is the official video that helped us unanimously win the title.
