Quote CodeXIIINotXV="CodeXIIINotXV"apparently the reason for it being so crowded yesterday in the south stand (i felt like a sardine in a tin) was that tickets were incorrectly printed as south stand instead of north. thats why there was the big empty section of 300-400 spaces in the north.
Unfortunately the stewards were not smart enough to move 300-400 fans to the other stand so it was safe. I saw around 50 people get moved to the west stand which i believe wasn't on sale, and used for the community dance project.
Surely the person in charge should of made the executive decision to relocate fans; as it wasn't safe in that stand at all!'"
Not sure who told you that? The south stand was sold out 3283 capacity, the stewards were useless at keeping the yellow walkways empty. This said we stood right in the middle at the back and were crowded but not cramped, never felt in any way dangerous!
Due to some stupid rule over the north stand only having enough toilet facilities the capacity was capped at 2010. When we were in SL the north stand held over 3000. That is the reason for the empty space in there.
As for the bad view in the east stand, I have sat in those seats and you can still see the play from there. Admittedly the dugouts may block some part of the middle of the pitch.
Anyway most people have commented positively about their shay experience yesterday. I am biased mind!
