Fair play to Scotland, awesome in the first half. Turned them around and offloads killed their big men.

With the amount of ball they had and the apparently great team they've got they should have scored more points than they did but Scotland held them out superbly. Sets group C up very nicely indeed.

but we also didn't come on shooting tonga's load but i agree with you they have a good team on paper but the players don't gel as evident tonight.

I still think that Tonga vs Italy could decide which of those two qualifies for the QFs.

Scotland exceeded my expectations, and those of everyone else who follows the game. But against Italy they will be playing a more disciplined side than Tonga, and a Grand Final winning full back who doesn't make three terrible blunders in one match.

It's difficult to judge as we've not seen the Cook Islands yet but I'd expect them to fancy their chances against Tonga going off tonight's performance.
