Got our tickets for eng v ire in the post this morning. Good to see it selling out, surprised the England game at hull isn't as popular.

It is surprising I agree, especially since all of the GB games at the KC have had 20k+ crowds, last time round England played NZ in 2011 in front of 23.5K and a fantastic atmosphere.

However I have been disappointed by Hull City Council's lack of promotion for the event, they did a really good bid campaign to get the games staged here, yet have done little to promote them. The feeling you get is that they are still a bit miffed about missing out on the Semi final they bid for.

I also think that staging 3 games in one city (especially one so badly hit by the economic downturn) was a bad decision in hindsight, one of the PNG games may have been better at Doncaster instead. The tickets for the KC game are also double the cost of the England-Ireland game at Huddersfield.

Still there is 3 weeks until the first PNG game at Craven Park, and a month til the game at the KC. Still time to turn things around with the right promotion.

Good point about 3 games in one city but you would expect the England game to do well and the others not so. I didn't notice that about pricing differences to Huddersfield, that is a shame but it must be the cost of using the stadium?

Possibly, but maybe the RFL just thought that as Semi finalists last time round Fiji could attract a more premium price?

the two games at Craven Park have had a 'buy one get one half price' offer on for months, which will have helped sales, and Rovers have a strong PNG connection via Stanley Gene, who has been plugging their games.

That said the '50 days' promo code is still live, so people can get tickets down the sides at the KC for £15 and on the ends for £7.50 which is still a lot less than what HullFC or even HullKR charge for SL games.

Ticket sales may also pick up when the Huddersfield game sells out, as fans in Yorkshire & Lancashire will start to realise that paying on the day won't be guaranteed, and that the KC will be the only chance of seeing England without a trek down to Cardiff.

Me neither, but did anyone receive an email on Tuesday with a link to a survey asking How Well Are We Doing? It seemed to ask specifically to that England v Ireland game.

Having completed the survey, it concerned me that the three key questions were:

Q. When did you receive your tickets to the above match? (With an option to say you hadn't received them)
Q. Did the envelope arrive in good condition?
Q. Which information leaflets did you receive with your tickets? (Info leaflet, Bring Back The Label and a fixture list)

Now I've spread the cost of World Cup tickets throughout the year, and purchased a few every month or so. But when I have ordered tickets for one match or more, the match tickets I booked at the same time have arrived together in the same envelope.

Eg, I booked the two Warrignton matches in May, and they arrived together. I also booked Eng v Ire, Aus v Fiji and Scot v USA at the same time in June, but only Aus v Fiji and Scot v USA arrived together. The Eng v ire tickets were missing.

I'm not a man to cast aspersions, but considering my England v Ireland tickets didn't arrive with the others when I placed my order, the fact the RLWC2013 organisers have requested I complete a survey with those key questions in it, I'm concerned there may have been a major cock up somewhere.

I'm scratching my head at the Australia Vs. Fiji game,

as far as i'm concerned, it's selling really poorly, but what i'm most confused by is why there is one block open in one stand, why is this, makes no sense to me?

Still haven't received my England Vs. Ireland tickets either, although i only booked when they opened the top deck!
Did receive an phone call asking if i'd like to upgrade my ticket though,

An upper tier central ticket (Which i already have)
A drink on Arrival
Pre-Match snacks (Sounded like sandwiches)
A Programme (Which i already bought)
And After match reception, but they weren't really clear on what that was, it could of been a reception with anyone!

So i told them i was interested, i just wanted to see if my friend was interested too, but for an extra £25, i don't really know if i want to, especially seeing as were going Aus Vs. Fiji in the night!

Yeah do. I ordered mine on Saturday and they came Thursday.
