| Quote Errlee Berd="Errlee Berd"So as it stands they've sold around 60k at OT & 50k at Wembley - great effort.'"
Now, if england put on a great display against australia in the opening game and build a bit of buzz they could both easily sell out.

RFL policy is usually under 2's free of charge.

| Get behind the whole tournament, if we make this look good we could really coin it in for 2014, a decent new sponsorship deal and plenty of local sponsorship deals for the league clubs.
If England can overcome the Aussies in that first match, we can really build some momentum in this.

| My World Cup Final ticket arrived this morning to go alongside tickets already received for
New Zealand v Samoa
Fiji v Ireland
Tonga v Cook Islands
QF at Wigan
QF at Warrington
Looking forward to it. Probably can't afford to do either of the double headers which is a shame. Wouldn't mind the challenge of England v Ireland at Huddersfield at 2.30 then trying to get back for Australia v Fiji at St Helens kicking off at 8.00.

| Its a shame there's so few games in the south of England or the Midlands, there's only 1 fixture within a 2 hour drive of my house in MK but there are 5 pro/semi-pro clubs within an hour's drive.
The Irish game seems like a big mistake to me, there's hardly any Irish development, and no pro sides. A group game in the midlands or south would have been much better.

As a Saint never took a liking to Offiah, but he certainly seems to be putting a big effort in for us. Is he getting paid? Can't fault him for adding his weight to the cause, certainly brings some press with him.

It seems pretty similar to me. Don't think there have been as many changes as other games in terms of sold out sections, but it could simply be a better spread of fans across the stadium.
Wembley could sell 10,000 and so could Cardiff. One could sell out a few sections the other could sell out none, simply due to the distribution of fans in the crowd.
Can certainly see the final selling out as getting 4 seats together is impossible in some of the remaining sections.

Suppose it depends on who bid to host the games, I'm unsure if anywhere in the Midlands actually made a bid(?).
www.limerick.ie/living/whatsnew/ ... erick.html
According to that atile, there were 34 bids in total, so possibly, although the Limerick one seems strong.
I suppose the proof of whether playing a game in Ireland is sensible will firstly be the attendance, and secondly what it does to grassroots participation over there in the longer term.

It is the same and hasn't been changed for a few weeks now despite me mithering them to do! If you use the ticket site website, the following sections are left available to buy two tickets together in the lower/middle tiers are:
Lower - L4, L5, L9, L27 (nearly gone!), L30 and L33
Middle - M4, M5, M14, M26, M27 (nearly gone), M34 and M35.
The Upper Tier has been selling well; not many left at all in the £25 South Stand area so really hoping they open up the Upper North Stand early next week. Expect the end sections of the Upper East Stand to look empty until you hit the £20 areas... weak sales there!
