I've been politely trying to get the RLWC13 team to give the ticket provider a kick in order to make the ticket pages more user friendly by highlighting sold out areas at all games. They said it would be done a week and a half ago... only tickets left for two seats or more seem to be in the West Stand and Northwest stand only; even those are nearly gone.

the sold out areas in a lot of grounds do actually have single seats remaining.....so if you want to make new friends you can still get a ticket in most lower tiers.....

I'd imagine if the other sections also sold out then the single tickets would be more widely made available. But if it's only odd seats, better for the appearance to put people in other sections.

One thing I don't get about the WC ticket sales is picking your seat.

When you pick your favourite seat it asks which row and seat you want, but does not show the section, so how do you know???

I've been saying this for ages. So what if they are. One off event, making it affordable for families to experience it when you add in transport, food, merchandise. If they have a good time, and the organisers seem to be planning plenty of things around the actual games, and then come back to watch club rugby next season or take up the game at their local club, job done.

It's essentially if you're relatively familiar with the stadium. You click on the block and then enter the row and seat number within that, for example if I wanted the same seat at the LSV where my season ticket is etc.

Will be good press if we can sell it out before the tournament. In RL we need to get in the mind set of not just waiting till the last minute to buy tickets or just be able to walk up to a big event.
