Absolute rubbish. I can't be bothered trawling through all the tosh you've posted on this thread but have you ever played a game of rugby league? RL is as much about the use of controlled aggression as it is anything else invariably once in a while that will result in the odd scrap for a variety of reasons. Anybody who can't understand this should probably accept RL isn't the game for the and I don't particularly see why as a sport we should pander to these people.
There is a vast difference between players having a dust up on the pitch, which is then resolved and everybody moves on, and speccies getting involved / the outright thuggery talked about in Phil Gould's article. I've been to plenty of RL matches that have had no biff on the pitch yet it has kicked off in the stands.
