Queensland have won the last 7 origin series
By 1990, Australia had won the last 7 ashes series and our Australian friends were suggesting that the kangaroos would throw the first game in order to make the series interesting up game to 3 which the aussies would then could back and win 2-1
Now that the State of Origin is as predictable as the Ashes results were in the 70’s and 80’s, Queensland are perhaps throwing the odd game to keep it interesting?

Don't often agree with you but this is spot on. Soon we'll have a game where it's become that dry it needs a talking point like a sending off like Yawnball does.
In the majority of cases, games that flow, have less penalties, that don't see the man in the middle or upstairs, that have biff are always the more enjoyable.. |

i completely agree, who when or what made the rule changes towards niggling and little scraps in the game? was it the commentary team moaning as usual? Stevo used to love a bit of biff and now he's like a fragile mum calling for tackling to be banned. |

as for winding gallen up to get him to respond, he didnt get sent off for the above, like big daft willy didnt for dropping fielden, so it would be a waste of time (yet morley did for a high shot after 10 seconds?)
our pack at least matches theirs anyway, and our wingers n fullback are of similar standard to theirs . its centres and halves were we'll struggle.
bailey wouldnt crack gallen coz he knows gallen would hit back.
