He didn't touch it & Ganson never asked to see any close-up shots to even check if he had. Ganson made a blatant error, it was a game changing call & he got it wrong!

All the camera angles show it is a no try! He can't say he couldn't get a decent angle, players blocking camera view etc. If he says I made a mistake as his reason which with that situation is impossible to do so (You would of thought)! If he just gets a slap on the wrist then whats stopping them from doing things like that in the future? I can only imagine that a Hull FC fan had tied Ganson up in a cupboard and hit the try button!

I dont have an explanation, cant remember a worse call. Does Eden have to touch it to play Green on or is a play and a miss enough? If so its not a rule I've ever heard before but there is no other justifiable answer. Either that or he hit the wrong button.

All I can think of is that he just assumed Eden played at the ball and didn't even think to check a better angle for whether he did. As it turns out there are lovely angles showing Eden pulled out early and was nowhere near the ball...

The one thing out of this that I don't get is people saying that the penalty would be from where the ball was kicked. Of Greene was ruled to be offside, surely the penalty would be from where Greene touched the ball? Or am I wrong?

Heard that the RFL are submitting an answer as to why the try was allowed. Assuming its from Ganson. From a source in Humberside.
