Agree. No idea why we can't produce world-class centres with any regularity, but we can't. Our major weakness though is strength in depth, or lack of it. Still, with a fair wind, we have a chance. 4-1 is fair odds for me.

George absolutely should be in the England squad he's been so dominating for Souths. no doubt he'll be overlooked and Morley picked instead.

I think Watkins is our only current centre who could turn in some 'world class' performances at the WC.

Widdop needs to be picked in the halves. He is a real talent in the NRL, as his huge new St George-Illawarra contract recognizes. But McNamara seems oblivious to his talent.
