Firstly i don't join in with anyone's childish 'hatred' of anyone else.
When i viewed it back it looked like he tried to throw a punch, l'estrange was too close so he made contact with the forearm instead, not a great deal in that, he then looked to gouge. If nothing is said by the RFL on Monday then they obviously agree with your opinion.
It was interesting what Clarke said afterwards. ''They've just poked the eye of an angry bull here''. Maybe i'm reading too much into it but i read that as him wanting to make reference to it but deciding (after his rugby gods comment) that he probably had better not.
