If they did they would be just as much a whinger as Sandercock. Everyone knows the fixture list well in advance, everyone knows about Easter and its once in the season. Yes it tests a squad, but isn't that the whole point of a season?

Exactly right, it’s a squad game, embrace that. I say more games, more games for everyone. More comps, more games in them, get more RL being played, more people watching it, more money in it.

If we need to play 45 games a year + internationals to fit them, fine, limit the players to 30 club games a year, easily rotated through a first team squad of 35 plus u19’s.

Maybe English Clubs should stop importing Australian Coaches with limited credentials and appoint a good English Coach instead.

Whilst there isn't a "warehouse" as you put it, what's the harm in giving an unproven British coach a shot rather than an unproven Aussie coach?

Brian Noble, Daryl Powel, theres plenty in the championships too. Or here's a crazy idea, why don't clubs actually start naturing their assistants so when the first team coach leaves, they can appoint them like we have done with Cummings, Wigan with Wane, Catalans with Frayssinous. Funny how them teams seem to be doing pretty well at the moment.
