Quality of the camera work alone makes that true. Nine has Spider Cam and Fox has Koptercam. Brilliant alternative view of the game, though I think they should use it more, because you feel like you are a player on the field. Neither Sky nor BBC has that for rugby league.
Of course commentary is better in both Nine and Fox than in Sky. However I get irritated by the fake niggling of Ray Warren vs Phil Gould, which we don't get when the excellent Ray Hadley is doing the Nine commentary, nor on Fox.
