*the club was only taken over the day before our opening match
*season tickets have only been made available a couple of days before this fixture
*we have been heavily beaten for the first 3 games of the season
*the game was 6 o'clock on a Sunday so families are unable to bring children
*we are at least 6 months behind every other super league club in plater recruitment due to disrupted per season so it's taking longer to field a competitive team
We are at the start of a new project under Dr Koukash if people expect us to be having crowds of 10,000 + after 4 weeks of new ownership then they are living in a dream world. Lets have a look at the situation in a couple of years before comments like this. Hopefully we can improve attendances week on week and with results like last night with a skeleton squad then who's knows what can happen this season when we add more quality to the squad'"

I can't believe people are surprised by such a low turnout considering the obstacles Salford have faced coming into the season. Give the new owner time and i'm confident Salford will significantly increase their attendances and competitiveness.

1900 to a SL game is shocking, the club have been brought back from the brink yet there is that little passion for RL in the area that crowds are massively down on 2012. This move may well kill Salford.
