Just seen that. He's in the know so I guess it's likely to be true. Cant see many people defecting from Sky to BT to watch it if it happens.

BTs sport channel is going to be on the SKY platform. If you want NRL and 1 live Championship game you'll have to pay another tenner at least. I'll probably just cancel Premier Sports and run with BT. |

Didn't know that deeHell. Might not be too bad then but Ive just read that the BT sports channel doesn't start until mid summer. Roughly 15 rounds in.

Personally I think it would be pointless from a viewers perspective for BT Vision to get NRL as a big chunk of the season has gone but from there point of view it's another leverage tool in the hope of gaining custom.
For someone like me I'd have to pin my hopes on sky adapting a BT channel due to the fact that you can't BT in Hull.
In the long run of NRL in the UK it's a bad option if they want to boost the sport over here! Premier Sports would be the best option IMO (even though they are lacking a HD channel).

Atr present the BT sports channels are currently been allocated on the Sky platform as Sailing 1 and Sailing 2 (channels 445/447). Hopefully we might have a period of freeview testing. I'm hoping is the same kind of deal that was with Premier Sports, were the games were also streamed live on the bookmakers site.
