I'm heartbroken at how my club Swinton manipulated the dual reg system to field in essence 9 Warrington players in the team that faced Workington yesterday.It had made a mockery of the integrity of the championship competition and I won't be attending another game while this ridiculous system is in place.

I actually think Warrington are making a point with this , unfortunatly I can see several others following suit , and I do have considerable sympathy for Swinton and John Kidd , he is desperatly trying to keep a sports club alive living as ' nomads ' until he can return it to its true home , an incredibly difficult thing to do for just a few years , let alone as long as it has now taken

So , continue to follow your club , you are needed , and dont be so hard on them , they have little choice but to take advantage of every opportunity to survive , we dont need anymore Bramleys or Blackpools

What if it works for one part of the game , but damages another ?

Winners and losers depends totally on which side of the argument you sit. At the moment we don't know what affect this will have. Thinking objectively, I have a strong aversion to anyone not born in England playing for us. I don't care if Aus and NZ utilise the rules to try and win, but for me when farsavaloo and chase played, it stopped being England and lost the appeal for me. I'm sure they'll be some Swinton fans who feel the same about their team now

It isn't just Swinton and their fans , 1stly , because they wont be the only club to do this , most of the rest will now follow , and 2ndly , it affects the credibility of the whole competition and all the clubs in it

They don't have money to invest. Most are spending as much as (probably more than) they can actually afford already. How exactly do DRs save them this vast quantity of money, apart from a few win bonuses, to be investing?
