Quite right, the RFL should stop this lunacy at once. This free publicity during a period when we don't have another sponsor is ridiculous, and is needlessly promoting our game at a time when we should be mourning how bad our game it at promoting itself. |

Nope, Stobart passing themselves off as being involved when they no longer are is wrong, and it is a bad image when discussing sponsorship with other potential sponsors, what guarantess can the RFL offer that Stobart will immediately unbrand the vehicles for the start of the season in 13 days? |

Something I have suggested before, we completely follow the NFL model. 14 owners of 14 clubs, with 1 vote out of 14. They appoint and vote for the directors, they have the league set up they want. Junior development they want etc etc.
I would split SL completely from the RFL, the only link on a day to day basis would be the continuation of the solidarity payments of 1/16th of the SL contract to the RFL and 1/16th to the lower leagues. |

Some are, some are doing an outstanding job, the likes of Leeds, Wigan, Saints, Wire are really driving the game forwards. Just because Hull KR and other clubs have nearly run themselves in to the ground doesn’t mean everyone has. |

Its painful to say this, but (unless they miraculously find a genuinely good deal and prove me wrong) I hope they fail completely to find a sponsor. The worst thing that can happen is some awful deal that's got [ijust[/i enough in it for the RFL people to cling onto their jobs. They should have been kicked out a long time ago - you only need to read/listen to them to know that they're not good enough ( I mean, sure, we're not Google or Apple, but these clowns aren't fit to market a chip shop; even where we are now we can find MUCH better and dynamic people who'd take the job in a flash ). If a total failure (in the very short term) is what's needed to get rid, so be it, much better than plodding on with the same old rubbish year after year.
