Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "I cannot believe that people are so silly as to pick the run on team with reserves, when form during 2013 season will decide this.
You pick a squad, from which the best 17 will be selected.
Here is my 24 man squad, which most people will recognize as the best availableFB Sam Tomkins, Zak Hardaker
WG Ryan Hall, Josh Charnley, Tom Briscoe
CE Jack Reed, Kallum Watkins, Ryan Atkins
HB Kevin Sinfield, Gareth Widdop, Danny McGuire, Rangi Chase
LF Sam Burgess, Sean O'Loughlin
SR Gareth Ellis, Gareth Hock, Ben Westwood
PR James Graham, Chris Hill, Eorl Crabtree, Luke Burgess, Justin Poore
HK James Roby, Rob Burrow[/i
The important think that everyone should recognize, is that Sam Burgess is much more effective, in fact devastating, if he is playing as a backrower.'"
No, actually what you do is pick the squad at the end of the domestic season, then pick a 17 from that squad. So form decides the squad, not just the line-up. So why is picking a squad now any less silly than picking a squad including first 17?
Also, why have 4 half backs in the squad plus Tomkins and Burrow? Total waste of places, especially when you've only picked 3 second rowers.
