He wasn't an NFL player. He made that up too Nobody in America has actually heard of Greg Smith!
The closest there has been was Manfred Moore with the Newton Jets and by most accounts he wasn't that much out of his element and might have had a chance if he stuck with it

| What is interesting about James Gallaugher is that he is very big for his age and thus he could become a powerful rugby league player as a winger should he choose to take that option.
Of course we don't know if he has the requisite rugby league skills, like the ability to catch a football on the run, the ability to pass on the run, the ability to field a spiralling high kick, and the ability to tackle. But his size gives him some basis for confidence in the latter, and if his ball handling is OK, then we could expect him to become a sensation on the wing.
Now if only an England or France SL club could find a speedster like that!

Chuck Wiseman was a QB, played a couple of matches for Wigan in the 60's.

I have serious doubts about whether Chuck Wiseman was an NFL player. About the only thing you can find when you search for this Chuck Wiseman is discussions on Wigan messageboards. He's a complete non entity outside of Rugby League circles.
The 60's were the 60's, but still, you'd expect some information about him in a non rugby league context.
The stories about NFL players in League all seem to be made up, with the exception of Manfred Moore.

| A kid from London that isn't even 12 yet has run pretty much the same time!
"Enfield & Haringey’s Nathaniel Thomas, at the of 11 years 8 months in September ran 11.91 into a massive headwind of 1.8m/sec. To put that windspeed into context, if it had been behind him instead of against, it would only just have been inside the legal limit. It is the equivalent of running 11.64 with a 2.0m/sec wind behind.
And at 200m on the same day, he ran 23.60 into a wind of 0.4m/sec. His 100m time is believed to be a world age-11 best and the 200m time just 0.03 off the age-11 mark, although statistics for athletes of that age are patchy.

To be fair though, that kid is British. He's already got a loser mentality, he'll never win anything.

Nate Thomas apparently comes from London Skolars territory, but he sounds like the perfect candidate for the London Broncos academy. Tony Rea should be informed ASAP.

| Ah, takes me back to the days of Stuart Chick in the Leeds 'A' team.......
Fast, but did not have a clue what to do on a rugby field.

Sampson was 19 when he ran that time in 1996 beating an 18yr old Dwain Chambers (who incidentally held the junior record at 10.06 before Adam Gamelli beat it). Don't know where you got your facts from but the previous record holder for u15 100m was Mark Lewis Francis (10.93/1997) that was only just beaten this year by Owin Sinclair with 10.92 the official UK record for junior Boys

| I don't know anything about Chuck Wiseman other than he was American. In RL though he played at least one season at Blackpool Borough and scored 20 or so tries.
