Not quite true. Due to Salford Council's rather keen safety bods, a lot more was spent on the Willows in the last 25 years than most "traditional" RL grounds in the last 100. Two new main stand wings, large section of terrace replaced in the NE corner, new crush barriers in the North Stand and Shed, new seating in the North Stand, complete reclads and re-roofing of the North Stand and Shed, community classroom. Yes, the bogs and changing rooms remained rubbish, but much more work was done on the Willows over that period than at most grounds (many of which were in greater need).

ironically those "two new main stand wings" have been donated to oldham for us to use for the redevelopment of whitebank.............we best get them up quick before the ask for them back
