| Whoever finishes top at the end of 27 rounds should be champions, none of this antipodean nonsense.
As neither was I'm hoping for a Leeds victory. They do things the right way, apart from the coach who's the biggest moaner since Linda Lovelace, and their side is chock full of players they've brought through the ranks.
As for Warrington, let's hope they have learnt from others' mistakes and don't upset their accountant!

Leeds are the champions and rightly so. How many times do they need to 'fluke the final' before they get some recognition?
Unbelievable achievement added to an unbelievable run of success.

It's not a case of them fluking it, they fully deserved to win tonight (as they did last year), but there is a real fissure now between the regular season and the playoffs. Leeds are champions of the 2012 playoffs. They can't, in all seriousness, be considered the champions of the [uwhole[/u of Super League. And that isn't to detract from their success, it's just being honest in acknowledging that their success was in the playoff competition, not the regular season.

| Posted this already but it applies here. Remember we are champions and WCC and got to the cup final. It doesn't make a mockery of SL it's just player management.
Those who think it makes a mockery of the game simply don get it, or its sour grapes.

No, Leeds are the champions. If you can't accept that, tough.

| Like I said on another thread
In the U.S they call it "Clutch" which means beating the BEST when it matters!! it is the most important attribute to them
We have played 4 weeks of brutal RL at the highest level, leaving everything on the field for 4 weeks running
The players could hardly celebrate the played so hard tonight!
CLUTCH BABY !!

| It's almost if, at the start of each season, Leeds have read the rules about how the Champions are crowned in Super League. Disgracefully unsporting.

No Leeds are 2012 Super League Champions. It said it on the sign in front of them while they were celebrating.
It doesn't matter how many times you b|tch and whine, it still remains true. If you're that bothered about it you should be criticising your own team for so regularly choking in the playoffs. Seems Wigan just aren't that good when it matters these days.

| Correct! Nobody in Aus has sour grapes when the team wins the GF!
Funny how those making the noise are Wigan and Wire fans(last year).
I've heard some Wigan mod is hanging up his keyboard because of it? Good!

The league and the playoffs have become two separate competitions. I think it's you who can't accept that. You've done brilliantly in the playoffs, nobody can argue with your success there though.

No they haven't, your team have treated them that way, the rest of the league on the otherhand understood the rules of the comp before it started.
