No self respecting Sintelliner or Widnesian would ever say they were a scouser. They don't even sound like them.

Merseyside doesn't exist anymore.

Widnes was put under Cheshire Council Authority in 1974 but was never picked up and thrown over to the other side of the Mersey so it is still in Lancashire, the county boundaries never changed.
