I think people go a little bit OTT with joel Moon. His defence isn't the best and he missed a big chunk of the season through injury so I wouldn't say so. Can't think of anyone for Salford who really stands out but I think Ashurst went pretty well in his first season with us
Andy Lynch has been sensational for Hull, especially considering the recent revelation that he played every round this year with a broken bone in his wrist (he didn't want surgery during the season as it would mean he would miss too many games)

Hardaker may have more impressive metre-making stats, but he isn't in the same league as Hodgson in terms of playmaking ability. Hodgson has the capability to step into the line and unlock defences with his passing and impeccable decision making, whereas Hardaker doesn't. He is much better suited to playing on the wing or in the centres.
Sean Long as assistant coach improved Salfords attack no end, especially at the start of the season, but in terms of players, then I'd have to say Hill at Wire.
