I don't agree with that considering his team has finished 4th, 5th and 5th again in the last 3 years in what is effectively a 4 team league? not that consistent. He's consistent brilliant in the playoffs though, i'll give you that, but its only 1 month a season????

He plays the game like a 7 in a 13s body. I dont like the way he tries to referee games but last night he was immaculate, particularly first half.

I do not see him as a legend of the game though, thinking about the immortals and people who have been inducted over in aus - he would not make first five nominations for me for me. When you look at players we would include over here - bevan, risman, foster, van vollen, betts, platt, farrell, sculthorpe, newlove, robinson, offiah, schofield, hanley, edwards etc.
Legend ? is he even best 6 or 13 in past ten years? farrell, sculthorpe, o'loughlin all better loose forwards and at six barret, pryce ,mcguire, briers all had times when they have been best 6 over here. Legend at leeds maybe but legend of the game not convinced. decent enough player but never done it at international level.

He must have done something to be nominated for the Golden Boot Award, no?

Errs, don't think Newlove should be added to a list of legends.

Sinfield is different because he is an all rounder. He makes others better players and is above average at everything.

For me we need to give him a decent run for England, as captain.

Kevin Sinfield is a very special rugby league footballer. Yes he may not have turned it on in international games but how many can hold their hand up and say they have? He's had a great career and deserves a hell of a lot of respect.
