I'm actually disappointed to be losing Martin Aspinwall. He's been very consistent this year and would have continued as a good squad player next year. It'll be interesting to see how Paul Johnson goes for us. I do like the fact he's only twenty-four. |

Apparently they are having a little visa trouble. They are denying the deal is going to collapse, and insist he should be there for the beginning of the next union season at the latest. He says he went back to union because his missus wanted to move back to England (her name's Claire Sweeney, I wonder if it is that annoying bint off of Brookside?) and he didn't want to play against Catalans, so rather than move to Leigh or Halifax, decided to go back to the auld kick n' clap. |
