Quote: Bull Mania "This is the frustrating thing, we have some top quality players and i genuinely believe we have a squad capable of winning the WC. A forward pack of Graham Roby Burgess Hock & Westwood is frightening! Our back line is also looking exciting, Briscoe, Broughton, Charnley, Hall, Tomkins, Watkins.
The problem we've got is Mcnamara keeps picking players who have proved time & again they aren't good enough at international level, yet still keep getting picked because of what they have achieved in the past AT CLUB LEVEL.
Mcnamara has to forget the likes of Mcguire, Sinfield,, JJB & Wilkin. Their achievements at club level has been excellent. But they have never done it at international, what makes him think they are going to do it at 30+. They're not good enough. I would rather have a John Bateman or Stevie Ward than Wilkin or JJB.'"
We need experience in the side but you could argue that Graham Roby and Burgess provide that now having been there for a number of years.
