There are 14 clubs in SL now that bring the biggest attendance figures ever, as published today, unless the rfl decide to reduce the number of sl teams or re-introduce promotion & relagation the same teams will prevail for ever!

Omar Khan has already expressed that his biggest priority is first of all getting the books sorted. He's guaranteed stadium improvements also.

IIRC the Council own the stadium. The RFL own the lease.

Do you really think he's going to spend millions, that he probably doesn't have, doing up a stadium he neither owns nor has the lease for? What nonsense. Thats like me paying for a new kitchen and conservatory in your gaff!

So with this decision the RFL have basically said that the licencing system is now scrapped ?????.......after all they have let a club break the rules they set, in which punishment was to have been the revoking of a licence - and their punishment was letting them stay in SL and keeping their licence with nothing more than a 6 point deduction !.

There is it folks......Spend spend spend to become succesful and when you do that and go bust you will be considered an 'iconic club which the game cannot possibly do without' while being literally kept alive by the governing body, in my opinion, forever if no buyer actually came along !!.

Spend spend spend like every other club does? If Davy, Hudgell, etc, decided to leave, then clubs would be in the exact position the Bulls are. Most the clubs in SL are "spending, spending, spending" and are making massive losses, they are just been kept afloat by a rich backer. If that backer decides to go then many other clubs will follow the Bulls. I hope that never happens as i would never wish any other club to go through what the Bulls have this year, and if they did i hope they would be supported by SL/RFL until a buyer was found.

The RFL board arrange a luncheon meeting at The Savoy. They start ploughing through all the paperwork they have amassed on Bradford over the (next) 12 months. This will be no picnic - literally. They will invite KPMG - to analyse the numbers because that's important.

I don'y envy them. That's a job and a half that one . . . .

When did the RFL say that administration would automatically mean the licence being revoked?

The moment the SL clubs told the RFL that SL must remain at 14 ( and probably dismissed any of the Championship clubs to replace them ) the Bulls were back in SL, why is there all this mock surprise?

They see if Bradford somehow managed to implode again when they find out that is almost impossible they just wave them through.
All above board and 'fair' in their eyes.
They may as well stop with the dog and pony show and just give them the full licence now IMHO.
BTW I'm not saying giving Bradford the nod was wrong but for gods sake stop trying to make out it is something it clearly isn't
