[quote="headhunter":lnxdgxk2]Union people are idiots. They almost universally accept that league is a better, faster game played by better athletes, yet for some reason they continue to disregard and belittle it. That game is tedious as hell from start to finish. If he'd ever played or even bothered to give more than a fleeting chance to league he would realise that the game is far more 'technical' than Union ever could be. Booting the ball into touch, scrummaging and forming rucks and mauls aren't areas that involve any skill, technique or mental capacity whatsoever. These are clumsy, outdated facets of the game that are also extremely uninteresting to watch and thus have to be defended in some way by people who are too prejudiced to see the truth.[/quote:lnxdgxk2]:
No random knock ons which can gift the game to the opposition in the last 5 minutes - Often in the old game you could play sensible RL with drives out your own half, with players who werent fatigued who would just randomly knock on and it was often better just to play hotball with the ball - Should be the opposite to this for me....more risky passess, if you dont get right, should increase the chances of k/ons.
Also - When you break and pass to a supporting player, the player needs to catch the ball with the same momentum and not take it standing still...in the old games theres no point in using your support as they just stop and get tackled!
would also like to see less random high tackles...again should increase chances with more aggression and no random jumping of the ball to a player nowhere near it when theres another player closer!
The release date hasn't been pushed back at all, November 16th was a made up date by the retailers to make sure people weren't put off buying it due to no release date, the first time Tru Blu came out and said a release date was a few days ago saying it was the 30th November, because the likes of Amazon and play.com put it down as the 16th everybody seems to think that was the release date.
