Clubs should live and die by the sword. The RFL is a joke of an organisation and deep down everyone knows this, but most are too stubborn to admit it. Honestly if this happened in Football it would be unthinkable, no wonder RL media coverage is so poor.

Not having rules in place for fielding ineligible players.
The Wigan points deduction fiasco.
Franchising.
Celtic Crusaders.
Selling sponsorship rights for NOTHING.
The disregard for lower league RL.
Buying a lease for a stadium of a member club.
Buying a member club outright.

They just make up the rules as they go along.

Shove all this emotive about 'historic' clubs and crap about the 'integrity' of the competition. THIS IS JUST UNBELIEVABLE! JUST PUT THE POOR BASTARDS OUT OF THEIR MISERY!

If nothing else it at least stops money going out of the game straight into the administrators pocket, as long as he was confident of bringing in the money to pay himself he'd have happily strung it out for as long as possible.

People seem to think we can afford to lose a club of the stature of Bradford. We're a small sport on the brink in a double-dip recession. Preserving Bradford is crucial. Maybe it isn't fair, but keeping Bradford in Super League is the vital for the game, especially with these right now up for sale again. Maybe it's not the diplomatic view but people need to get real about the importance of Bradford to the league.

Bet there was alot of arm twisting going on by SLE to get all the clubs to agree to this though.
