| Quote Newton-Le-willows-Warrior="Newton-Le-willows-Warrior"Yes they should stay in super league. I support wigan and I think they should stay in the super league because there is not one championship club who could realistically take their place.
I'm in favour for a return to promotion and relegation though and I hope we scrap the franchising system.'"
So you don't think there is a club strong enough to replace Bradford but would bring back P&R and guarantee one of these clubs that 'can't realistically take their place' a place in SL every season?
to answer the OP, I would like to see Bradford survive, ideally in SL and rebuild back to their glory days, I can't see this being acheived with P&R due to cost of over-reaching to avoid relegation!

| I don't think they should be automatically relegated but I would put up their franchise for applications. If a Championship side have a better application than them then they go, if not they stay.

| Castleford Fan, And for me, They should have their license revoked.
Us and Wakefield are busting a gut, To gain new stadiums to satisfy the RFL's franchise dream, Meanwhile, they are perfectly capable of satisfying their current needs at the club (They never sell out). We are running ourselves into a financial mire and are at risk of been removed from SL. Meanwhile, Bradford have failed to run a stable business and that is one of the key objectives of a Franchise.

Maybe the current needs of the clubs are affected by the stadia they have?

[iBradford Bulls provided a solid submission detailing a strategy, tactical plan and targets to achieve improved commercial and financial performance. The club has a solid fan base, a strong brand and good operating structure/governance in place. However the club faces some challenges. These include the local economic environment, poor recent on-field performance and an ageing facility. The application acknowledges these challenges; however the club believes that its business plan for the next three years will move it to a position of sustainability with good prospects for further growth. The club has invested heavily in its youth performance programme in recent years, and it is expected that the club will soon start to reap the rewards of this investment with improved performances and increased numbers of quality club-trained players.[/i
Which part of the previous review of them do you suggest is wrong?

| No.
Just like Wakefield should have gone, the Crusaders did go eventually.
A points deduction only is really not good enough of a punishment for a team that is so poorly run it has to go into administration to get out of paying up what they owe (especially when the points deduction really does not matter at all anymore thanks to franchising).
Drop them into the Championship, C1 would be too big of a drop.

| I cannot see how a club with an 11,000 fan base can be kicked out.
However, nor can i see a justification for simply sweeping the whole mess under the carpet and forgetting it ever happened. There has to be a critical deterrent for club owners to prevent them doing what Bradford have done - without consequence. But what can that deterrent be when there is a lack of quality clubs queueing up to potentially take a place of a failed SL club? The longer term consequence of what's happened is a real headache for the RFL.

Good operating structure/governance, perhaps?
