| O Loughlin for me, captain of his hometown club and would be proud to be captain of his country. A grafter and someone who is on the pitch for 80 minutes. In a good position at Lock to make impact and give them a kick up the when we fall behind to the Aussies again.
Failing that id have Ellis or Burgess. Jammer has a bit too short a fuse to be captain and could work against us when talking to referees about decisions. In the future i can't see past Roby being the captain.
But knowing McNamara id bet a quid on Rangi Chase. Quack mate.

| They aren't going to pick someone who isn't already a SL based captain of their club, leaving Sinfield, Roby or O'Loughlin. O'Loughlin wins it for me but I wouldn't be too disappointed with Sinfield. Roby seems a bit too quiet.

| Roby and O'Loughlin both give the same thing. They lead by example and put in the hard graft but neither are vocal at all.
Graham leads by example and is very vocal although has had a tendency to spit the dummy. Still, that shows how much he wants to win. I'd say Graham should be captain but the fact that he doesn't play in England causes a bit of an issue.
Sinfield is a great leader but he's not the best in any position that he plays. He's also coming towards the end of his career so it would make more sense to give the captaincy to someone who will be there for years to come.

| Should be Ellis without doubt.
Will be Sinfield however, and McNamara will play him until he retires from International rugby.
