Neither have enough interested population, or financial backing, at Leigh the stadium is irrelivant unless they could pull in at least 8,000 averages, they are struggling to exist in the Championship at the moment

Best of a bad bunch then. Neither club could draw 8k. Leigh would draw some serious away support though based where they are.

Not when ' shipping ' 40/50 point thrashings every other week , attendances would be around 4,000 then drop away after that

Approx 75% of current SL clubs aren't 'suitable' either. It doesn't take a genius to realise the game in this country isn't big, popular or rich enough to support a fully professional top league at current salary rates. Unfortunately nothing will be done before many of those 75% follow the path currently being taken by Bradford.

I know this may be hard to believe for those who think SL is fantastic but as a fax fans there is nothing i would want less than being in SL in its current form; i find it dull to watch bar some of the 'big' games and derbies and it is a largely flawed concept.

I would much rather go be competitivie at Batley, Leigh, Featherstone, Keighley etc than be thrashed at Wigan, Leeds, Saints etc.

SL used to be a real ambition for me as a fax fan but now it would be my worst nightmare
